My Old Kentucky Barn is a new venue in an old tobacco barn. The 1800’s barn is situated on over 50 acres on Main Street in Williamstown, Kentucky. I grew up in Williamstown and, along with my brother Mike, spent a lot of time painting the white board fence and planting Canna bulbs in the spring (and digging them up in the fall). It has always been exciting to me that I am only the fourth owner of the property in 180 years. The Webb Family were the longest running owners. In fact, they donated land from the property to form Webb Park to the south. John and Edna Risen purchased the property in 1976 and sold it to me almost 15 years ago. There is so much history here and I am excited others can now enjoy the barn. Even though the outside of the barn looks new, all of the old detail is still there on the inside. I know that brides and grooms will make great memories here with their families. It will also be the perfect venue for milestone birthday parties, reunions and other memorable events. Even though I don’t live in Williamstown, I love having this connection to my hometown. My entire family is in and around Grant County and will be handling all of the rental inquiries.
